Woody
I recently had the privilege of riding in a 1950 Woody that inspired the mode of transportation for the Gekkards in their latest storybook. There are some pretty amazing things to learn about a 60 year old car that has become an icon for the California culture. I was most impressed by the innovation to use wood, instead of steel, because steel was hard to come by at the time of the car’s production. The remarkable craftsmanship can hold up very well when the car is cared for. I also learned the true meaning of a “Rumble” seat.
