Overview of School Visit:
Arizona author & illustrator, Joey Welsh, is available for school visits. With over 10 years of success as an artist & author, Joey brings a unique perspective to school visits. His presentation explores the fundamental power of pictures and words, but also the value of passion and determination. Through step-by-step examples, Joey demonstrates how he builds a story, how he constructs an illustration, how he extracts humor from his characters, while continually stressing the value of hard work.
